At Be-Ge Stece AB, we strive to be a part of a sustainable society. As a step towards a more sustainable development we take water from our own well. Between August 2021 and May 2022 around 65% of all the water within the production came from our well (see chart on water consumption below).
The water is used in the cooling process, various cleaning processes with chemicals and surface treatment processes for dilution in the chemical baths. Some of the water is sent to destruction, but the majority of the water will be taken care of by our own treatment plant. The treatment plant takes care of the process water to a level well below the standards we have in our state from the authorites.
